It connects the village of Prato in Venosta (South Tyrol) to Bormio in Valtellina (Lombardy) and St. Maria in Graubünden (Switzerland).
At 2,758 m, the "Queen of all Passes" attracts motoring and bicycle enthusiasts from all over the World with a total of 87 hairpin-bends! The road covers approximately 1900 vertical metres over 30 km and is one of the most impressive mountain-roads in the Alps – both for its impressive landscape and the route itself.
